Terms of Service

• "System" refers to the college management website, application, and all related services.
• "College" refers to Ileys Technical College.
• "User" refers to any person accessing the system, including students, staff, and administrators.
• "Content" refers to all data, information, and materials within the system.

Users must create an account to access the system. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify the college immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account with another person
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

The system enforces role-based access control. Each role (admin, academic manager, teacher, accountant, registrar, student) is granted access only to features and data necessary for their responsibilities. Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the system is prohibited.

You agree to use the system only for lawful, academic purposes. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to breach security or access unauthorized data
• Introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Interfering with other users' access to the system
• Using the system for commercial purposes outside college operations
• Uploading inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempting to modify, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the system

Staff members are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data they enter, including but not limited to: attendance records, exam marks, fee payments, and student information. The college reserves the right to audit and correct data as necessary.

The system, its design, code, and content (excluding user-provided data) are the intellectual property of Ileys Technical College and its developers. Users may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the system, you consent to the data practices described therein.

We strive to maintain system availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The system may be temporarily unavailable for:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Emergency repairs
• Events beyond our reasonable control (service provider outages, natural disasters, etc.)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ileys Technical College shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the system. The college's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The college reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Grounds for termination include:

• Repeated violation of acceptable use policies
• Security breaches or attempted breaches
• Non-payment of fees
• Expiration of enrollment or employment relationship
• Conduct that disrupts the college's operations

Upon termination, your access to the system will be revoked. Your data will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be addressed through the college's internal grievance procedure. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or system notification. Continued use of the system after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
